About the publication «Каменеобробка України»
A reference for Ukraine's stone industry: a directory of companies and Ukrainian stones in which every record says where its information came from, when it was checked and how to correct it.
History
«Каменеобробка України» was published as a printed directory between 1997 and 2006 and continued as a web directory until 2014.
How records are marked
Each record shows one of four information statuses with its date and source. A status says what has been checked; it is not a rating of a company or a stone.
- Editorially checked
- The identified details were checked against named evidence on the stated date.
- Company-confirmed
- A company representative confirmed the identified details on the stated date.
- Historical record
- Documents an earlier period. It does not establish current operation.
- Awaiting confirmation
- Shown with its source and date. Its current accuracy is not yet resolved.
Update a company
Registered companies can log in and edit their profile. Anyone can suggest a correction to a company record with the link on its page. To add a company, register it.
Report a correction
Every company and stone page has a “Suggest a correction” link. An editor checks each request before anything changes, and every accepted change is recorded with its date.
