The companys 12 quarries are situated at the very heart of SIVEC marble extraction area, and have been operating in the area, since 1948. It is estimated that the reserves of the SIVEC quarries, which extend over an area in excess of 2,000,000 m2, are enough for marble extraction during the next 500 years.
The extraction capacity of all 12 quarries combined was in the year of 2004 around 25,000 m3.

All 12 quarries are equipped with the latest technology marble extraction machinery and facilitating vehicles, operated by a specialized work force of 350 people, almost all year round.
Within the area of the quarries, there is also situated a huge open-air stone yard for blocks, a machine-works building for the quarryâs machines and vehicles mechanical repair and maintenance works, covering an area of 1,500,000 m2.
