DEMMER DEMİRELLER MERMER SANAYİ TİCARET COMPANY was first established as EKREM DEMİREL MERMER OCAKLARI (MARBLE QUARRIES) in 1969 with the contributions of DEMİRCİ HACI ÃMEROÄULLARI GROUP of COMPANIES. It has realized its first export in 1983 via ŞUAYP DEMİREL İTHALAT , İHRACAT , TURİZM (EXPORT , IMPORT ,TOURISM) Company. The company adopted the name ŞUAYP DEMİREL MERMERCİLİK İŞLETMELERİ (MARBLE PLANTS) in 1984. It then adopted the name DEMMER AŞ. (Company) during the second half of 1990 and has been contributing the Turkish economy for years.

DEMMER AŞ. has recently put more emphasis on the production of traverten in accordance with the demands of the market. It employs 5 quarries for traverten production , 2 quarries for marble production and 2 quarry for Beige and 1 quarry for Limestone production.

Annual production capacity of DEMMER AŞ. is 50.000 cubic meters. 70 Per cent of this annual production is processed at the modern plants of DEMMER AŞ. Thus , its export capacity Per month is between 100 - 150 containers.
